The D-FENCE 2002 has the usual features of the D-FENCE but with a backup battery and a perimeter of up to 2200 metres.
D-Fence 101, is an invisible electronic fence made up of a transmitter, a perimeter wire (which acts as a radio antenna) and one or more collars for the animals. It is possible to fence off an area, create forbidden areas (such as flowerbeds or swimming pools), avoid crossing a gate. The wire can be hooked to the pre-existing barrier, to the net, to the railing, made to run at the base of the perimeter wall, underground, underwater, inside the hedge or simply made to run on the ground, wherever you want for a maximum length of 1200 meters and for an area of 9 ha. Under normal conditions, the system is in stand-by. If your dog enters the "warning zone" (0.4 to 5 meters) the collar he is wearing will give him an audible signal. If he does not turn back and enters the "correction zone" (0.3 to 1.5 meters) the collar will emit a correction pulse (at 8 levels) which will make him desist from continuing. The width of the zones is adjustable from the transmitting control unit. The system can also be used for multiple dogs by adding other collars. The voltage inside the wire does not exceed 12V so there is no danger if the wire breaks. Guaranteed for 3 years.
N.B. The unit may not work as well as possible if there are other sources of radio waves near the transmitting wire.
